Below is an example of a Johnson identification plate showing the model code and serial number. An Evinrude identification plate looks almost the same. Some identification plates also show the year of manufacture of the engine.

2. Then click on Johnson Outboard or Evinrude Outboard

3. Next, enter the model number found on the identification plate of your Johnson or Evinrude outboard.

If nothing comes up from the model number, try starting from the letter J (Johnson) or E (Evinrude). This also applies, for example, to the model code from the identification plate above. The exploded views come up when searching for J6RLESR instead of BJ6RLESR.

To make sure that you have found the correct exploded views of the outboard motor, it is always advisable to compare the cowling / engine cover and gearcase / lower casing with the exploded views of these.

4. The exploded views of the outboard motor are divided into several sections. Choose the part of the outboard that you need spare parts for.

5. You now see the exploded view of this section with all associated spare parts numbered. Under the exploded view you will find which original Johnson / Evinrude part number and description belongs to the spare part.

6. The correct Johnson/Evinrude part numbers have now been found. You can copy the part numbers and then enter them in the search bar of our webshop. If the spare part does not come out immediately, first remove 0 before the part number. For example, 389576 instead of 0389576.
