Instructions
When the wood is gray and/or dirty, it must first be treated with Teak Cleaner & Degreyer. Shake can well before use. Use a stir bar to loosen the product at the bottom of the can and then stir well. The teak must be completely dry before use. Apply the product with a brush. Use short strokes and work in the direction of the wood grain. It is important to make even strokes to get a uniform surface. Always stop applying at natural breaks, such as seams. Check the treated surface to make sure there are no brush marks and/or irregularities. Unevenness or moderately opaque spots can be corrected by rubbing with a dry cloth in the longitudinal direction of the wood grain before the product dries. Globs or drips should be removed immediately with turpentine and a cloth. The surface is air-dry within 10 minutes and can still feel a bit tacky afterwards. That is normal and in dry and sunny weather it will quickly become completely dry.
